Founded in 1989 in Snow Camp, North Carolina, by filmmakers and special makeup effects artists Dean and Starr Jones, the attraction has earned a reputation for delivering cinematic-quality haunted experiences unlike any other in the Southeast.

What began as a creative Halloween production quickly evolved into a regional destination, attracting visitors from throughout North Carolina and neighboring states. Drawing upon decades of experience in motion pictures, television, and special effects, Dean and Starr Jones introduced audiences to an immersive style of haunted entertainment featuring Hollywood-quality makeup, detailed movie-style sets, elaborate costumes, professional lighting and sound design, and talented live performers.
